Johnny Dee

Johnny Dee has been playing up and down the East Coast, but primarily in the Lehigh Valley for 50 years.  Johnny began playing with the Walt Groller orchestra.   He plays the saxophone, clarinet and button box and sings as well.  His son, Johnny Jr., plays the drums.  Jeffrey Stewart plays the saxophone and Gary Kratzer plays the accordion.  In addition to polkas, Johnny plays contemporary music and even some country.  Johnny and his band can be seen all around the area at such places as the Bethlehem Musikfest, the Coplay Saengerbund, the "Uke's" and the Liederkranz, the last two in Allentown.  Johnny and Joe often combine their bands and what a treat that is for the listeners.
